I see that you pruned your Marseilles back.
Mine went unprotected this winter and had similar die back.
It is a nice variety and I've given some of my neighbors some starts from it already.

Hi Leon:I am not using the boat ,anymore because,I can't launch it,to water,after I had Back Surgery,in 2006.
But I used it before and had good fun,going fishing on Delaware river tributaries.
As for the pruning,I really used the tree to get some extra Money.
I sold all those cuttings,on Ebay,and,I am sure whoever grows it will be very Happy with the results.
I know I am.

Your dogs look fat and happy Herman. Do they eat figs?

Any figs they can reach,on lower branches,they do eat,when they figs are ripe.
In the ripening period ,I overfeed my dogs in order for them to leave the fruits alone.
They also eat squierells,and rabits,any time one is cought inside yard.

We did have frost this morning all my lillies took a hit and two fig's that i missed with a trash bag.

I moved all of my figs and assorted other plants (well, except for the bamboos) and I didn't need to (which is better than needing to and not having done so).

Guess I'm moving everything back this evening...
