It's especially interesting to see the transition from new graft forward, I think the 2011/2012 move up is remarkable. The cluster of buds at the terminal (2011) is really something and looks like they all popped. You picked the right little graft, I'd say.

Looks like growth is ~2-3 inches per year, is that about right?

My original graft can from Dennis Dodge. I have seen it listed by Larry Stanley and I think Bob Fincham has offered it in the past.

Hello. I have one grafted on firma from Conifer Kingdom and will be planting it in the Fall. I am zone 7 and inside an urban area. It has been up potted and currently in the shade. May I ask how much sun it receives and general siting of your conifer? Thank you and this is a magnificent specimen.
