I use my large Impresso Aluminum tags. The pipe is cut to 18 inches, and made of undergound/sun resistant Grey PVC with a hole drilled in it. Also seen on my clipboard with my trees mapped in relation to each other. My trees broke a bunch of their tags by growing up to 5 feet!
Some of my trees grew about 1 inch in diamter and broke off their tags. Luckily..
