More prolifs and bee pollinated pods this year

I expect it is because of our near-perfect summer weather, but I have never seen so many proliferations in a summer before. We have had wonderful regular rains and although we had a few days of very hot weather, the nights have been great. Now we are in a cooler spell, but are going to get another shower tonight.

I can always tell that a flower has been pollinated when I am dead heading in the morning (or live heading the night before). Those flowers that are trying to make a pod don't just pop right off. This year, the bees or other pollinators have been very busy! (BTW, although you pull the flower off, very often the seed continues to grow.) I hadn't planned to collect seeds this year, but will take the ones from the expensive crosses.
