I grow coriacea but not fraterna.I find coriacea likes a bit more water then other hoyas.I grow mine in a self watering pot but I do use a free draining soil.How are you growing these 2 hoyas?

I grow Hoya fraterna and I find it a little fussy. My plant showed good growth but when moved up to a larger pot where it stayed moist longer it dropped many leaves. I have to watch my plant now to make sure it does not stay wet too long but if I don't water enough the new growth stalls or dies back. I think Cindy is on to something with a moist but very open mix.

The both plants are in a size 4"pot and have a more peat moss base. I do let them dry out and maybe that is my problem. they are near a southern exposed window and have them on a shelf with a grow light. I have a fan mounted on the side for air flow. Would you suggest that maybe in the spring repot to different type of soil mix? Will take all the help I can get. thanks
