Aged maple nougat hardwood vs pine plank flooring for cottage - help me decide!

We are building a craftsman styled cottage on Lake Ontario - 1.5 stories with open loft. We are stuck on our flooring choice - Mirage Aged Maple Nougat engineered hardwood vs stained wide plank pine. Our goal is to create a relaxing space inspired by coastal colors and natural materials

i love the aged maple nougat...its stunning! so fresh and airy. you can go in so many directions with wall color...blues, greens, greys. invite me when its all done!

Oo! Definitely aged maple nougat. Unique and versatile. A little more unexpected for a cottage too - which I like! Seems like a great fit for the decor style you are pursuing.
