That looks like a normal infloresence. Many lily types get numerous blossoms, if you treat them right. I had one last year that had 52 blossoms on one plant. Just enjoy.

Lilies are heavy feeders. Every season they need a side dressing of blood meal. Certain lilies like calcium too so those need a side dressing of bone meal as well as the blood meal.

To side dress, dig a little trench about 4 or 5 inched away from your lily stalk. Make it about 2 inches deep. Fill with blood meal, cover it up. Also water your lilies three times during the summer with 2 T. of epsom salts in a gallon of water. This makes them able to use the nutrients in the blood meal.

Besides keeping the bugs picked off, that's all there is too it.

Wow! Thanks so much for sharing this info with me! I don't know how I missed this info. I am getting discouraged the last couple of days because a few of my stalks have been broken by wind. They do look beautiful in the vase, but I love to look at them in the yard. Tomorrow I will feed! :) I just hope the ones that broke do ok next season...

That's a nice looking lily. Is it kind of a waxy-white color? A creamy white? That would go well with many other colors. Do you know the name of it?

No, sorry, I don't know the name of it. I do believe it came in a grouping called Strawberries and Cream though. And probably from White's Flower Farm.
