Carmellia-If you can tell me where abouts you are I can maybe drive in with some stuff. Otherwize, I'm out here between Litchfield and Hutchinson if you want to come out here. I have lots of things. My Gaillardia is from seed I collected myself, have a few dozen to give away. The Lobelia, maybe 10, Lots of Sweet William(Dianthus). Purple cone flower(Echinacea), Black Eyed SUsan(Rudv=beckia fulgida), etc, etc. All are perennial. I ahve been building a large prairie wildflower garden for the past 4 years. Tell me what you have to trade. I can always use Daylillies, eg.
I am way down in Kenyon, close to 50 miles from the Cities. I don't know how far it is "as the crow flies" from Hutchinson.
It may be a little late to suggest this, but I am hosting a plant swap at my house tomorrow (Saturday the 23rd). YOu would be very welcome to come and bring all your extra stuff and take home some brand new stuff.
Just a thought. If you can come, let me know and I will send directions to you. We pot luck at noon and trade at 1:00. Don't think about bringing food at this late date. There is always too much food anyway. Carmellia
