Too funny that you should post this since I *just* recommended them to someone on the conifers forum! Yes, they do have an excellent selection of plants and, no, you will not be disappointed. Lynda, the owner, LOVES conifers and it is a worthwhile visit just to chat w/her. Pricing is pretty decent also. I actually live only 15 min. from Miller's and had no idea they even existed until a fellow IN Gardenwebber mentioned them last summer! Couldn't believe my good fortune :)

Well I ventured over that way today and was quite disappointed. Most of what I saw there, I considered sub-standard with a very few exceptions. But it was a nice day for a drive across the countryside so all wasn't lost. Now it is a bit early I know, but that doesn't justify the untidiness and trashy conditions I saw there, along with a lot of plant material that should be in the compost heap. Sorry for the harsh words, but that's how I saw it.

I'm sorry your trip was a bust mrgpag :( I was there on Fri. which was opening day and they did seem a bit disorganized, although they don't seem to be the most organized folks even well into the season. A lot of the plants weren't labeled which was frustrating. When I was there last fall they had many cool conifers (lots of different golden pines, several J. communis Compressa, etc.) that were nowhere to be found. I just assumed they hadn't brought them out yet? Who knows?! At any rate I feel bad that you made the trip and were disappointed. Did you find anything at all?
