Knew it was going to rain but that was so quick I could barely get the two Japanese Chrimson Maple and 4 ferm planted when the sky opened. Quickly watered the roots and I guess will have to wait until it slows down some.Should give a touch of filtered shade from the sunny west hosta beds.I guess the trees will like the 4 day rains that are forcasted anyway and saves a lot of watering of the hosta too. Not sure of the roots doing any damage to the hosta but I can always move them if I have to.They are only to grow to 10 feet when mature so we wil see anyway. They will get enough sun to be red anyway

So good to have you approval Ken . In 10 or 15 yrs my hosta should be able to fight it out ( or I could also trim it too) Maybe by then I won't give a ...??? lol Really ... you do know you stuff.
