Mine didn't bloom this year-too much watering. :-(

Kevin, you have a gift with those species that require less water during their rests. I, on the other hand, am heavy-handed in the water dept., but am learning. :)

Looks to be a better than average clone. There is not much choice around here though i have a yet to flower mericlone of a yellow variety.

This self pollinating thing is a pain because it sometimes carries over to primary hybrids made with aurantiaca.

Carol, i'm not too sure how much of a drier/cooler period this species needs to flower in spring.

NICE! I got rid of mine. I was growing it in semi-hydro and it was taking up so much space. Carol, I kept mine wet all year and it bloomed regularly.

Really nice clone...all the ones I've seen are much more closed than this one. Learned all about aurantiaca with the judges while clerking the catt alliance last year :D

I didn't know this one might like a drier winter. Can't say I really gave it a drier rest, but then again, I was kind of lean with the water with everything this winter.
