How far is she from Kingston, OK? The Kingston Greenhouse has everything from flats that would probably start 100 seed to 6 packs or 4" pots. They are open 8 - 5 Sunday thru Friday, closed Saturday

It is hard to know what to recommend without knowing if your friend wants to raise seedlings to sell, in which case I'd go to any greenhouse supply store website, or even HPS Seeds or Harris Seeds online and just order the 1020 flats and whichever sized inserts best suit your friend's needs, or if your friend is looking for something of commercial grade meant to be reused over and over every year. If that's the case, there's Titan Garden Trays which are sturdier than the standard commercial flats used by nurseries that ship millions of seedlings a year to stores. I'll try and find a link for someone that sells Titan trays. Like the ones that Carol linked from Lee Valley, they are not cheap, but they are sturdy and will last. There's also Perma-nest flats, and I think Park Seed carries them. They are pretty sturdy and lots of people reuse them every year. In the last couple of years I've bought greenhouse and growing supplies from both FarmTek (the Grower's Supply company that Larry mentioned is a division of FarmTek) and Greenhouse Megastore and have been pleased with the quality of products from both places.

My favorite flats (I am so 'old school', lol) are the wooden ones, but I haven't seen those sold commercially for any sort of price I'd ever pay, and I haven't even seen them in use in nurseries in many years. They were sturdy and lasted a long time though. You never had to worry about a wooden flat bending or bowing outward while you were carrying a flat of large plants from here to there.

If your friend is wanting sturdier pots like the 3", 4", 6" or larger plastic pots that larger plants are sold in at retailers and the sturdy flats that hold those larger pots, google Dillen and find someone who carries and sells Dillen pots and flats.
