Nice pic! Mine are coming up too, but they are luckily far from blooming (I say luckliy since Im sure it will get cold again before spring). Those blooms look great! And if it gets very very cold again, then you can always cut some of the blooms off and take them indoors so that way at least you wont have to worry about the cold taking them without you enjoying some of spring first.
Thanks for sharing! Right now I cant say enough good things about this winter, I hope it stays like this!

They are early... what tempt did it reach Saturday, it was 61 in NYC.

I was in Philly over weekend and it was 64. It was forecast to be around 60 here at the beach. Ironically, this pic was taken on the most winter like day we've had. It was damp, chilly and light snow falling.

I didnt even notice the snow falling in the pic! The pond looks pretty nice with all the fog, but I would imagine that it was pretty cold and uncomforable that day!
So far no snow has fallen here yet, Im pretty impressed, but we got so much last year that we deserve a bit of a break. Im sure some snow will be falling here soon though, just hopefully not enough to accumulate much!

Later that day, we had huge flakes falling lightly. It was very pretty and left a light dusting by early evening. We had another dusting around the short cold snap, but typical to this area it was all gone by dawn. Still a bit milder than normal with some more seasonal (42/28) days ahead this weekend. I always keep Virginia Beach on my phone's Weather Channel App for comparison. It's only 2.5 hr drive from Rehoboth to VB, but a world of difference with their palm cultivation. For the most part, our overnight lows are typically within 3 or 4 degrees of theirs. The difference seems to be that they are often above freezing and we are below. Also their day time highs are often 5 to 10 degrees higher. If there are daffodils here, there must be tulips already in VB.
