I think you should search for the best time for grow it.If the weather is still cold and snow falling,you should grow it in a box

Generally, most people start pepper seeds indoors about 6 -8 weeks before their avg."Last Frost" date. But once you germinate the seeds, they will need light. So without a proper lighting, it one cannot grow indoors, UNLESS you have a south facing window.

Start half the seeds now and get comfortable with any disaster that may occur. Then start the other half.

Once they germinate they will need light - a two-tube fluorescent fixture is enough if close to the plants.

light is my problem and i dont have the money for a set up of any kind right now, this wasint planed, hubby found them and decided he wanted (me) to grow them. they are called "carolina reaper"i wil start them soon and see if i can get a light set up, thanks for the help. to be honest he found them on line so im not even sure how well they will grow or any thing about them. i guess they hold some gbww. i will keep you updated though.

Home Depot sells a 48", dual bulb shoplight (T8), for about $12. Then you have to buy the bulbs (another 8 bucks). So the whole thing adds up to $20. It is all wired, with plug in cable. You can grow close to 20 seedling under it.
