I really like that one, but there are a couple other yellows too. I donÂt think Weeks sells direct, but once you have a name, you can look for it. A lot of local garden centers carry Weeks roses. I helped plant thousands and thousands of bare root ones in February every year both at PaulinoÂs and the place I worked before that. Hope I never have to do that again! The last year at PaulinoÂs it was 18,000!

And I checked the J & P site to see what I could find. When I was still in the green industry that was the other place we bought the bare root roses from. I kind of wonder if they still use J & P!!!

I am curious whether you found a yellow climber you're happy with, and if so, how is it doing? I'm in zone 5 and am interested in one as well, but don't have enough experience with climbing roses to make an educated decision as to which one to try. I was thinking about "Golden Showers" but don't know anyone who grows it. Please let me know if you've had success with any. Thanks!

I think David Austin has some hardy yellow climbers, but it's been a while since I looked at their site so I don't have names in front of me.

I am guessing that zone 6b is not hardy enough for you?
I bought two own-root climbing roses from Just Joey's roses 4 years ago and they have done really well.

I'm going to get Graham Thomas (an Austin), the Austins have done great for me and they smell amazing. You really should try a search on the Roses forum, they really know their stuff over there and lots of answers are respectful of your zone.

and so far, it is very happy in my Z4/5, 7,000 ft high elevation garden. It is one of the few yellow climbers I could find.
