Friend or Foe: Should it stay or go? Plant ID (pics)

Whilst pulling brazillian pepper and potato vine (I swear I have got every invasive plant there is) among the azaleas and bamboo, I ran across this feller. Any ideas on what it is? The big thorns remind me of bougainvillea but I'm not sure. It is in a pretty shady area and about 7 feet tall.

Looks like a citrus fruit tree to me. Lemon or lime. Along those lines. Looks like it has been there for a long time if it is that tall. Probably planted before everything else grew up. Needs sunshine to be sure what it is.

With the big thorns, I would suspect that it is a wild, or sour orange.

I live in florida and that is a sour orange tree cause of the thorns on it . I bet they are massive . I have been scraped by those massive thorns . OUCH!!!!
