I don't think you should worry about having a too big mango tree in London; they can be very big in tropic, but they are a slow grower in the cool climate zone. I think you should look for the vigorous grow tree, and select the fruit taste.

Pickering is a good choice if you can find one. It is a dwarf condo mango. Can be kept at 10 feet, but there's no reason you cant keep it shorter like 8'. It's a very compact grower that looks very bushy, that can also be kept in large pots. There are other condo mango varieties, like julie, carrie(but this one is not really a dwarf as it can get quite big), Pickering, and a few more I can't think of atm. Look on Google for Pickering mango tree and you will see how compact and bushy it is. The link below has some good European tropical nurseries mention, you could look at. Good luck in your adventure, and London shouldn't be a problem either, there are a few people that I know grows mango in Canada and some of the colder states here that get snow and below freezing zero winter temps

Now, Bangaru - is this going to be greenhouse grown or straight in the ground? In the ground seems like suicide to me. Way too much moisture in the UK and with the cold comes root rot and other moisture-related diseases. In a greenhouse (or in a pot that you can move in and out with the changing weather) gives you a MUCH better chance of success, in my opinion.

You should talk with some Northern California folks who have some of your same challenges with their mangoes.....

I did searched the link in which they have given very nice details of nurseries in europe.
But can some one suggest me vigorously growing mango species. Also helps if any nurseries available in UK
