Brug help needed....

Hi All

Carrie anyone who knows these beauties better than I can you tell me what to do...or not to do?

I have a pink brug in the house. A cat has clawed and chewed it. It looks like a palm tree with a handfull of leaves at the top of 3 branches. That's not abnormal. But suddenly it is covered with buds!

Do I just water it and wait or should I drap it outside? or should I give it some fertilizer?

The leaves are drooping, so I'm about to give it some water. But it's been on winter rations. Maybe a big drink will help it or might it hurt it?

Thank you....yes, I know I'm neurotic, but I'd hate to mess us the show!

Cynthia, it is definitely time to start giving your brug water and you can even start to fertilize...lightly at first and then increase. If you have a shady spot outside and out of the wind, I would even put it outside and let the air circulate through it. They are pretty tough plants and will take more abuse than most people think (as long as they get water_). BTW, how is your cat as these are pretty toxic????

He seems to be winning this one. No sign of tummy troubles. I guess he is just spitting it out. He is focused on the big branches to sharpen his claws and chomp.

He only chews the begonias that are trying to enjoy life indoors. They are all heading out tomorrow.
