morning glory like vine .. help with an ID plz

I have a morning glory type vine on my hot pen its has very dark green almost purple leaves and stems Ã¯Â»Â¿the morning glory style flowers are white with red center .... Ã¯Â»Â¿the flowers open in Ã¯Â»Â¿the am and close in the heat of the day Ã¯Â»Â¿the vine looks nothing like Ã¯Â»Â¿the morning glorys I've ever seen I'll take pics and post them tomorrow

Could be Ipomoea pandurata from the description, although a picture is worth a thousand words...
