The best way to take care of a marble counter is to talk to a fabricator about having a marble counter sealed with something called Nanosealer. Nanosealer isn't available as a retail product, it's something fabricators have access to.

Thank you. I live in Winston-Salem NC and marble is not something they use here often as a kitchen countertop. I have had trouble finding products here. I will look into the nanosealer.
