We drive to Austin almost every week and have noticed a lot of cedar trees very colorfully decorated for Christmas along 360. I thought it was really neat and figured the residents living nearby decorated the trees.

But I just stopped by the Garden Junk Forum and saw a thread by 'oak rock deer' Shirley telling how they've been decorated by the likes of 'underground gardeners'.

I tried to post a 'thank you' on that thread, but everytime I tried to type something I get taken to iVilliage Facebook page. Guess they haven't gotten all of the bugs out of the system yet.

So I thought you all here would enjoy seeing the trees anyway.

Shirley provides a link on the thread that shows a bunch of pictures of the trees. Over 50 trees have been decorated. What fun!

Incidentally, is anyone else having a problem posting there, or anywhere?
