Where are you putting the them? If these are spectacular lamps, don't try to compete with the beachy thing. A beautiful painting or wall decor between would be lovely.

Depends on the look you are going for. If you want a room with beach theme, then nautical art. If you want an designer casual look then perhaps art with architectural art would elevate the space to a designer look.
Do you have pictures of the room you are using the lamps in?

i think the lamps are spectacular!!!!!!! both lamps are on glass top with iron base end tables, that are on both ends of a charcoal sectional sofa. they are gray driftwood colored bases with gray shades. 1/2 of the sectional is in front of a large window and curves around to a blank wall. i'll try to post pictures. thank you for your ideas!

Driftwood is also a "nature" product, how about a collection of botanicals?
