Our threshold/curb with marble top is 6 1/4 inches in height & 8 inches in depth.

I usually end up with about a 4" vertical from the bathroom floor to the top of the curb if it's a tiled curb. Another inch higher if it's a stone-topped curb.

Inside the shower about a 2" vertical back down to the shower floor tile for a tiled curb, about 3" for a stone curb.

Code minimum, the top of the threshold must be 2" higher than the top of the drain opening.

Thx for the replies. I will measure and see. I prefer it lower but that would mean not using my same granite, and going with a thinner marble.

Thoughts? Deal with it higher and have it match, or lower and not match?
