Votive Candle Holders with Beads

I saw these at a craft show last weekend. The crafter had taken the beaded fringe that is so popular now - the kind that has the beads hanging from a ribbon and glued the ribbon to the top of a glass votive. She was selling them for $3 including a votive candle.

I'm not sure what type of glue she used. Does anyone have suggestions? I would think it would have to be something that won't get soft if the glass gets warm while the candle is burning.

I will bet that she used "red liner tape." It is heat resistant. It comes on a roll (with a red liner) and you can find it at Hobby Lobby, Ben Franklin Crafts, etc. in the rubber stamping and scrapbooking department.

Sounds cute! Did she simply wrap it once around? At the top?
I need a couple quick extra Christmas presents and these sound like they would work.

Annsb - Yes, the glass candle holders were wrapped around once at the top. The votive candle color coordinated with the beads.

AnnahE - Thanks for the info on the "red linder tape". I'll have to look for it. I've not heard of it before.
