Bumblebeez - drift rose question

Sorry for the shout-out - I'm too lazy tonight to open my email. LOL

Do you think drift roses would work in large containers? I have 3 I want to take up - I do not like them in the landscaped area they are in. Two I could use in large planters if they would work. I googled but was wondering what you thought (since you also have them) and also if you've ever seen them planted in containers.

I haven't seen them in containers, but the four I planted last year are pretty big, so I think 1 per container would be abundant. I would say they are 4' across -but no higher than when I bought them- and I did prune them this winter.
In a big container with some trailing things they would be beautiful. I have Sweet Drift, btw.

Thank you! I almost forgot I posted this LOL. Ours are pink and I do not know the name other than they are drift roses. I had not heard of them - the landscaper suggested them. I think I will try them in the pots!!
