My first thought was a wilted Jade plant! Since moving to CA, I've been experimenting with succulents and find that even though they are heat/sun tolerant, they look better if they get a bit of shade too. We also have a large cactus garden with lots of specimens ... weeding is now a dangerous and sometimes bloody activity!!

I don't know what you call it, but I got one as a gift a couple of years ago in a dish garden full of succulents, so I presume it needs lots of light and some water...so far it's doing ok, but some of the other plants in the dish garden, not so much.

I posed the question on another forum and someone suggested Cassula. There are many varieties of them, and I kind of think that's what it is.

The thing about succulents though, is they don't like a lot of sunlight like cactus do. I'm going to give it about 5 hours morning sun and see what it does.
