Where did the hanging wires go? Did they get painted, too? (Can you do that?)

I have wires hanging from the rafters in my basement ceiling, and would like to use this idea of painting ceiling and rafters....but then there's the wires... Thx.

We did rework a lot of the wiring to clean it up and then sprayed it along with ductwork, ceiling structure, etc. I did not hear from contractors that this was a problem with inspectors.

Did you/the contractor use an etching chemical to prep the ductwork and water pipes before priming and painting? If so, do you know the name of the product?

Just did this earlier this week. My painter used spray cans of Kilz on the PVC water pipes. He said the paint will stick to everything else. We are so pleased with the results, I got started on another room in the basement.
