Microfiber stays in place.

My light weight fleece throw stays put as well as my micro fiber pillow. I have ribbon baluster type too that stay put, but they have micro-fiber backs come to think of it.

What will make a bigger difference on the pillows is if they are down, rather than a rigid foam or fiberfill. The down can be 'smooshed' a bit and they will stay put.

I agree with les. Daughter and SIL have leather couches and down pillows. They don't have a problem with sliding. Another thing that might help would be to pick out a nubby fabric.

I have leather couches and was thinking of using a linen w/down inserts to make some pillows. Microfiber or suede might be good choices.

Ooooh, linen would be a very good choice and a good texture.

Wow! Thanks for all the ideas! I'm going to print these out and keep them with me for the next time I'm shopping! The ones we have now are satiny and not working well at all. Appreciate all of your input! :)
