Mine was with a soapstone countertop and stained cabs. Pics are not in natural lights, so not so great.

I have a calacatta marble subway backsplash paired with white cabs and black textured granite counters. Now, I ordered extra tile and removed any that were plain white because I wanted a lot of texture/pattern. This pic has a blue hue on my screen right now, but that isn't true in real life. HTH!!

Finally figured out how to embed photos. Marble subway tiles are 3x6, 6x6 over the range. Cabinets are vanilla cream and countertops are soapstone, but hopefully it's close enough to give you an idea of how it'll look with your scheme.

Our modest subway backsplash behind range in our 2004 DIY kitchen update. We always go for the simple over ornate. Seems to work better in our old house.

rjr - it is Ann Sacks - I ordered about 30% extra and then removed all of the plain white tiles. Check out the Ann Sacks website for great pictures of marble tile installations.

rjr220 - the tiles are carrara marble.

jama123 - the range hood brand is K-Star. It was provided by our contractor and I think pretty inexpensive. It's been working fine for us so far.
