Checking LP line for leaks

pepperidge_farm

We are replacing an oven- LP supplied (both old and new).

Is the quality of a homemade leak detector spray (1:1 dish soap to water) sufficient? What if I added a little glycerin like for bubble making solution...
Or should I just pay out for the box store purchased type?
The supply is copper in a single run from the tank into the kitchen where the oven hooks up, with flare fittings. Then copper coil supply line to the range. So I would be checking the one point that we are changing as well as the one that has been in place for 10 years, while we are at it.

Thanks.
