This rug is a blend of Wool and Sari Silk, flat woven by hand.
It is soft to the touch but not as soft as a cut-pile rug; the manufacturer offers this collection as a cut-pile version by custom order in any size.
We can recommend the flat weave if the home owner does not have cats in their home - some cats like to claw if they can.
