Yes, small drips on the equipment pad really add up.... By definition---that IS a leak! And, unfortunately, some of those heaters are expensive to fix leak wise....you better get on it if there is any chance its under warranty. It really sucks when you find out a $300 part thats been leaking one month after installation, you have been ignoring for 14 months and is now out of warranty.

I agree with Barco, get on those drips right away. IMO, Water evaporation depends on many things, size of pool, geographic area, etc..
In our area (South Texas), we can expect up to 1" and over per day due to the heat.
You can assume you will need to add water often, but again depends on where you live.

How is the pool other than that? (Jealously waiting for ours to become "swimmable"....)

I will be calling the PB tomorrow. The heater should still be under warranty, it is less than one year old. Other than that the pool is great. Today the temp. was 82 without using the heater. I believe the weather has finally broke and we will be getting our 80 degree and above days now.

Repairmen came and fixed the heater (PB's fault--they closed the pool last fall and did not remove plugs from heater--caused gaskets to bust.) Evidently that little leak wasn't so little after all. My pool level is hardly dropping at all even in our upper 80 temps. So glad it was that and not leaky underground pipes.
