Do my faucet finishes have to match?

I need to buy a faucet for cold water filtration and the brands of faucet I am interested in don't make them (blanco, graff). If I use a different brand like kohler or whitehaus just for the cold water faucet, does the finish have to match perfectly? For instance, will a brushed nickel work with a satin finish? Or some of the stainless finishes with brushed nickel? I don't want to buy a line of faucet I'm not crazy about or that isn't well known, just to have it go with the filtration system. Many thanks.

Mine doesn't match but I guess it's really a matter of taste.

My faucets are Moen Oil Rubbed Bronze but I couldn't find a hot/cold dispenser in the same shade that I liked so I got the Antique Copper.

They do not have to match, but I would try to avoid clashing (obviously). If you are settled on what main faucet you want, I'm sure someone could find you a cold water faucet that coordinates. If your cabinetry hardware is a different finish from your faucet you could match to that, or your lights, or your appliances or even the sink. So long as it doesn't visually stand alone, I think that it's likely going to be small enough to blend. I would worry more about picking a main faucet that you love, rather than finding a set that you are okay with.
