My wife and I have been looking into replacing our patio doors, which are currently just two entry doors (one swinging from the middle, the other fixed) installed together in a frame.

We've weighed a lot of pros and cons, and believe that a sliding door would make better use of our limited space and be more convenient for our purposes. That said, we prefer the style of a french door, so I've been looking into sliding french doors for the patio.

I received a jaw-dropping quote from Pella, and Champion does not offer a french door slider. I have appointments with Andersen and a local Marvin dealer coming up, but am concerned I won't find what I'm looking for.

Can anyone recommend a french door slider that combines decent quality with a reasonable price? We're looking to spend no more than $4000 including installation. Thanks.
