How to fill in crack in granite?

Our GC noticed a small crack in the granite. It's to the left of the sink so it will be a fairly heavily used area. For example, we'll be putting excess plates and glasses around the sink to wash them. Stone experts, what should I do with it? Is there a product I can buy to fill it in?

Notice the crack near the bottom center of the photo, in front of the grey area.

Did you contact your installer? What did they say?

(And when are those gorgeous pendants going up??)

We just noticed a very similiar crack in almost the same location--left of sink, close to the backsplash. Ours is about 6 in. long. Fabricator will be out to look at it this week. I'll let you know what he says.

It is hard to tell from your picture, but it kinda' looks like a little scratch? Get your stone guy out to come and fix it. Should be no big deal either way.

Pendants are going in (crossing fingers) later this week. We've had a few delays. I'll post a few pics as soon as the pendants are installed!

If it is a new install, the installer should fix - otherwise reading the stone message board, they fill with crazy glue (CA) and scrape carefully at an angle with a razor blade or use an epoxy fill. I have a few I need to fill, but haven't tried it yet.
