Acrylic craft paint vs. acrylic household latex paint

Does anyone know the difference between the two paints? I have used both household acrylic latex paint and acrylic craft paint on clay pots. The household one is thicker. I have researched this and cannot find an answer that makes sense to me. Thanks!

They are essentually the same thing.-Sandy

Hello...I just read in one of my artist books that the difference is that craft acrylics are made to last for years and house paints aren't. Hope this helps.
