I've been very happy with my Christiana cabinets....and they have the added benefit of low voc and sustainable sourcing of woods.

What's your budget level? 100Kworth of cabinets? 50K? 25K? 12K?

My budget is low...15k range.

Medaion, Showplace, or Kemper. With no Houzz frills. Just the paint upgrade. No stacked cabinets, glass, pull outs, stacked molding, etc. Or save longer for those features. Below that level, I wouldn't do paint.

How does the finish hold up on painted Showplace cabinets? Any problems?

I've been looking at the site for several weeks to decide on brand and I'm frankly surprised at the poor quality of so many brands based on the feedback ( I was initially thinking of Bellmont 1900 or Omega frameless but have been scared off of them based on comments--especially Omega). I'm also looking for a white shaker frameless cabinet and it seems the one's with the best feedback (least negative reviews) are Starmark and Brookhaven that are mid-priced. Sophie W--what's your complaint against Starmark-- other than an ordering/timing issue, nobody complained of quality that I could see?
