There are two types of Hydrangea paniculata seen here, the more rounded flower is Hydrangea paniculata 'Grandiflora' aka 'PG', and the more pointed flower is Hydrangea paniculata 'Tardiva'. The grass is Miscanthus sinensis 'Adagio'. Here's a picture of the grass from this past fall that shows the seed heads.
