Seal an asphalt driveway

Well I did one coat of a premium sealer and I'm not happy with results. I bought an 18" squeegee and a mixer for my drill.

The Sealer was called latexite. So after I mixed it went on smooth but I couldn't get it to not leave marks/ swirls behind.

It's nice and black but not a smooth continuous result.

It was a very hot humid day but I applied around 4 pm so the sun wasn't beating down but the driveway was hot. It was about 85-88 degrees.

I plan on a 2nd coat tomorrow but I'm thinking the problem might be the squeegee. It was cheap from HD and only 18" wide so you have to make more passes.

What do you think? Was it the heat, the cheap squeegee?

I was even thinking about rolling.
