We are working on redoing our kitchen and we already placed an order on the cabinets (Kraftmaid). The current design includes 90" tall cabinets on 2 walls and 84" tall cabinets on the other 2 walls. our ceiling is low (95" high on part of the kitchen and 89" the other side) so we ordered 2" small cove moldings. Now someone pointed out that uneven height of the cabinets might look odd so we are thinking changing the 90" tall cabinets to floor to ceiling (95" total by adding fillers). Here is our question - are the 2" small cove molding too small for the 8 foot floor to ceiling cabinets? Or we should replace the moldings to 3" or 4" crown (or cove) moldings? Thanks for your advice!
