What are the dimensions of this living room? I am considering built ins all along the front wall of my house (with front door in the middle) but this is the only place I have seen it done. My room is narrow and I worry about overpowering it. Wondering about the size of this room because it sure works beautifully here!

I too keep coming back to this house! I would love to build similar bookcases around my windows but my baseboard heaters run below them. How is this house heated? DId you have to work the heating into the design to accomodate the bookcases? Thanks!

This house has radiant heat, but you could do a tall base to your bookcases and have slats which allow the heat to flow. This is one example with a deep bench on top:
