Pedestal supporting round counter top questions.

We love your pedestal idea and want to make a similar one for and island eating area extension, not raised higher than the island, but by extending the top. Please tell me the dimensions of the pedestal (width and height). Also, what are the dimensions of the brackets? If the round top is 52", is there anything else to support the counter top besides the pedestal and 4 brackets like a steel plate? From the end of each bracket how much counter top overhang still remains on the underside. Thanks!
