We used LED strips tucked up into channels carved in bottom of shelves.

Do you put the lights towards the front or the back of the shelf?

Can you elaborate on the lighting- how deep are the channels and are they strips or individual LED lights along the channel to make a long strip (like in the under cabinet halogen lights in kitchens)- also where is the channel (how far from the front of the shelf/), Thanks
