How did you fix the shelfs on the travertine wall?

The contractor had to put threaded metal rods into studs in the wall. The shelves which are made of a slab of travertine, were slid onto these metal rods with epoxy so the will not move. You have to have the wall built with enough support to hold the stone and the shelves. It was very heavy duty.
