Best antique roses for high Pecos valley of New Mexico

New Mexico gardening: Looking for antique roses with large blooms that will thrive in hot days and cool nights of Roswell, New Mexico. Am now growing Napoleon and Caldwell Pink very successfully in my back yard. Have some powdery mildew now but it will leave with warmer days. Have not tried David Austin roses.

You might try searching the Antique Rose Forum.

I grow mostly Austins. My only old roses are Madame Isaac Perieire and Marie Pavie, and both do fine for me, although Marie Pavie gets chlorotic.

Thanks for your reply, I will check out the Antique Rose Forum. Would love to try an Austin. Are they grafted or grown on their own rootstock?
