How much of the plant looks like that? Can we get a pic of the whole plant or at least more of it that includes newer growth?

How did you prepare the soil when you planted out?

I don't think this is something that requires pulling the plant. Crispy black edges with wilting are usually a root/water issue, especially possible root burn.

Thank you for the concern but this was last year's issue. If I remember correctly, I pulled the plant and replaced it. Hoping for better results this year.
