I am planning the floor for a laundry room off of a hall with honed black travertine & white calacatta marble. I really didn't want to carry the black & white into laundry area; generally, I like a lighter / whiter (Bottocino or Crema Marfil, with or without combining walnut tumbled marble / tile for that room. Walls will have glass mosaics of garments of various time periods. Examples: a man's tux, suit, day wear, evening gown(s), woman's attire. Am I better off using one of the hall tiles such as the calacatta? Or, am I okay using a tumbled tile? Thank you for any suggestions!
