Maybe something like this for color.

That stone has a little plum undertone. There is a great color that is a taupe and it has that same undertone in it - look at sw versatile gray on the body, perfect greige for the gable face, sashes in garret gray and use the creamy trim you've got now to help pick up on the sand toned stone element. Test this combo

Cute place! I think a medium charcoal or bronze might be sharp on the body. Maybe SW 7069 Iron Ore, 7645 Thunder Gray or (if that leans too green) SW 7675 Sealskin. I feel like the upper gables should be lighter than the lower siding, so a lighter gray on those. Add a zip of color on the front door - maybe a violet, an orange, a yellow, or heck, even the turquoise that's there now.

I would look at the rock in the building and choose maybe the color that repeats the least for contrast and then another color from the rocks for the smaller areas.

How about a deep blue/charcoal? Color like the photo attached.
Modern.. And not taupe..
You may want to do your window casings in taupe, however,
to bring it all together, minimize the # of colors which always adds up to elegance.

I think grey and white would be lovely on your home! The first one is a deep cool grey and the second looks more like a warm grey (or possibly green-grey). The white trim gives them a crisp, clean look.

I think I see some yellow in the stone and a light yellow would be more appropriate with this style house. Perhaps a blue-gray-green on the dormers to match the roof. Lots of white trim. In the 50s people didn't use much gray on these ranch houses.

We finally chose a colour. Now planning on a burnt orange for the front door?

Did you turn a room back into a garage?

The garage is at the back of the house. We have been busy building a secondary suite. Now finished!!!!

Oh, cool! I kept looking at the house and trying to figure out where that garage door was, lol!

Finally had it done last fall. Might paint the front door orange this fall.
