We recently moved into a house where all the trim is this oak and all the walls are very pale white, I think the color is Moderate White. I would like to paint our bedroom a calm, soothing, watery blue green color. I think it goes great with the oak trim. We have a rug that looks kind of like this. I like the contrast between the red and the blue in the paint color. I know some will say to paint the trim, but we love this style. We just moved out of a house with white trim and beige walls and I do like that look but I'm ready for a change.
