Is anyone but me not able to access HMF?

I am a paid up member of HMF, which I consider a most worthy organization. I have tried several times this morning by several different routes to access HMF only to receive a FORBIDDEN message. "You are forbidden blah, blah, blah". I should like to know by whom, as I am a member, so surely not by the moderators there. Maybe there is a computer glitch in Australia? HMF has had glitches before and has efficiently and promptly dealt with them without sending rude messages to its supporting members.

In a related or unrelated incident, I am not sure which, I was contacted via email by someone who referenced my user name on this site. There is no particular secret about my insignificant identity, but why not just contact via Houzz? I will say that I have been quite vocal on some political sites about food and farm issues which are not discussed here. If the person who contacted me is reading this, please be aware that I intend to go on being vocal; indeed I may well increase my advocacy in favor of organic and sustainable gardening and farming.

aah..just to correct what I said earlier, I always remain logged in, and I can still view the site normally, searching for roses, reading comments etc, but when I clicked on 'My Account'... at the top of the page, I got the certificate warning...

I got through eventually after receiving a message from Safari saying HMF's certificate was invalid. I hit Continue & was taken to the site.

I was not able to log in either. There was a message saying the site was not secure and was possibly being hacked. Don't know what is happening.

Hmmm...I just had the same experience as Marlorena. I stay signed in, so could access the site, but when I click "My Account" I get:

"Your connection is not secure

The owner of www.helpmefind.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website."

What browser is everyone using? I use Firefox, and I know it has recently started alerting me to non-secure sites, with a message at the sign-in window of each site. It's actually pretty amazing how many non secure sites there are. Or maybe I'm just drawn to non-secure sites? lol.

It seems to be fixed now. I can't help being a little alarmed when I get a You Are Forbidden message from an innocent garden site.
